April - Das Jahr - Fanny Mendelssohn (digital)
Fanny Mendelssohn's Das Jahr is a piano cycle consisting of 13 movements (one for each month of the year plus an epilogue).
Mendelssohn composed this cycle after a year-long trip in Italy which, along with Bach arrangements of Lutheran chorales, inspired these pieces.

How digital scores work
The digital version comes as a zip file containing 3 options:
- 'Standard' has equal margins. This is suited for digital use or to be printed and used in plastic wallets.
- 'Single sided' has larger inside margins on the same side of each page. This is suited to being printed single-sided and hole punched or binded.
- 'Double sided' has larger inside margins on alternating sides. This is suited to being printed double-sided and hole punched or binded.
Due to issues with opening zip files on portable devices, we also offer a separate mobile version which just consists of the 'Standard' option to be downloaded and viewed easily.
