It is important to us here at DKYL Music that giving back was embedded in our culture. Being a member of B1G1 (Buy1Give1) helps us to achieve this.

B1G1 are a global organisation that allow their members to help change lives by just doing what they do at work every day. They screen projects (called Worthy Causes) that align with one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to ensure that any contributions make as great an impact as possible.

How we give
Whenever one of our Spiral Scores are purchased...

One forest tree is planted in Kenya.
Whenever one of our Digital or Mobile scores are purchased...
​
Musical education for primary school children in the UK is supported for a week.
Whenever an optional £1 extra is spent to purchase a Spiral Score...
​
A musical instrument is given to a disadvantaged child in the UK for a week.
​
This is then matched by us for a total giving of two weeks worth of access to a musical instrument
Being an active musician ourself is an important part of our vision as it allows us to understand the needs of performers more. It also gives us another opportunity to give.
​
So for every concert we perform in or conduct, we will give to another chosen project that is part of B1G1.

Covid-19 update:
In order to ensure the safety of our customers and everyone else involved during the process, we will not be delivering any of our Spiral Scores until the situation improves. You can still purchase any of our Spiral Scores during this time, but they will not be delivered until it has been decided that it is safe to do so.
Our Digital and Mobile scores are unaffected and are still available to purchase and download.
